How your start menu is opening if its not working
I think the point of fixing the Start menu error is to get the start menu working on the same user's account.
In summary your fix is:
1. Create a new local user account
2. Sign out of the original user account and into the created local user account
3. Give said new account administrator privileges
4. DELETE(?!) the primary account (you know, the one with presumably the user's data that they would want to keep).
I do not know if you realized if you clicked 'Delete files' instead of 'Keep files', but I clicked on this video hoping that you would provide a substantial fix for the issue since I am currently experiencing the error.
Sure, on the new profile with everything deleted, the Start menu works. But only at the expense of ALL of my data, except for, of course… my account's name.
Your video is unbelievably misleading and I sincerely hope that everyone that watched this video in hopes of fixing the error didn't fall for your video. If people blindly followed your selections to the prompts you showed, they have lost all of their data if they have no recent backups, or any backups for that matter. If Google doesn't take down this video from my report, you should take it down yourself or change the video so that it actually shows a process that fixes the problem (if that is even possible). An excuse that viewers should know better to keep their files is not an excuse to have the video lead them to delete their data in the process.
